BITE axis: Information
Social proof
Robert Cialdini's term (Influence, 1984) for the cognitive shortcut of inferring correctness from others' behaviour. Operationalised by high-control recruitment through testimonial saturation, choreographed enthusiasm, and visible inner-circle status. A non-coercive influence mechanism that becomes problematic when paired with information control that prevents members from accessing dissenting reference groups.
